The doctor wasnât just a dickhead. They tried to malpractice you. Some day this idiot will give someone morphine and theyâll die either from the morphine or whatever was overlooked. Thankfully the nurse wasnât such an idiot.
Iâve googled a bit on discharge papers and HIPAA and think youâre probably safe going forward in that regard. People fuck up though and maybe you should make sure the hospital knows about this and does not keep a copy of anything saying âdrug seekerâ in your records.

You probably are not lying with that eyeroll there and do think I was suggesting that as opposed to publishing the doctorâs name, rating the doctor badly in public websites, and complaining to the hospital. Thatâs because youâre dumb and arrogant and think youâre always right, just like the doctor that saw AQ.
What I think is that you donât actually know what the terms youâre using actually mean. But hey, what would I know? You googled something! Itâs not like I have a decade of training and work in this field now.

Well, I wasnât suggesting it was malpractice or that there is a thing to sue for called âattempted malpracticeâ. Idgaf whether you believe me about that or not. Itâs not surprising that you wouldnât.
There are other ways to try to make sure this incompetent asshole at the very least is made well aware of what an incompetent asshole theyâve been. With your decade of training and work in the field you could probably advise AQ about the most effective ways he can bring the doctor, the hospital and the publicâs attention to this menace. I doubt you will though. Iâm sure the hospital and google have enough info to get AQ started though.
FYI feel free to complain about whatever, but itâs not likely it will actually ever make it to the doctor. They arenât employed by the hospital, and companies screen their complaints before going to the doctor because most patient complaints are nonsense. (Last one of mine I read was because I refused to redo a plastic surgeons stitches)
Thereâs no sort of malpractice, attempted or otherwise, in PCs post. You could complain to the board, but again would most likely be ignored.
The only real thing to do that would have any sort of negative effect would be to make sure you fill out a survey negatively if you get one. A fair number of people have some part of their pay tied to that, including me.
The most important thing imo was to validate PCs feelings that was a shitty experience, which I did right away.
