2022 NFL Gameday Thread: C’mon Damar (Part 1)

In all these instances, the ghouls of the world have felt free to fly their freak flags high. If we ever, ever return to normal, hopefully these fools can be shamed the rest of their miserable lives.

Vitals being back to normal is pretty vague wording but based on this information it sounds like he has made it…at least so far.

I assume Goodell is lobbying for the game to be resumed tomorrow no matter what. I hope McDermott and Taylor turned their phones off.

Yeah I don’t know how you get this game played. Nothing makes sense. Tomorrow is the best shot but I can’t see that happening.

Docs? This seems awesome to me.

Being alive still has to be a big win thus far???

Goodell is just a paid stooge. The owners will make this decision.

ESPN seems behind on this info

If not tomorrow, there’s just no time to put it anywhere.

I hope the coaches stick with the “fuck you, no” option.

If Damar is out of the woods, wouldn’t be surprised to see it played tomorrow.

But intubation doesn’t sound like that to me.

Ultimately, the game should be made a no contest. But since that’s the morally correct decision, it won’t be made.

Goodell is such an irredeemable piece of shit, but that reflects his employers also being same. It’s really irritating trying to enjoy a product controlled by scumbags making billions of dollars.

I like to think of Commissioners as the Borg Loqutius: a spokesman for the collective will with no independent thought.

Game being played tomorrow has to be roughly -400 based on the NFL being owned and run by complete pieces of shit.

Meh. If he makes it through the night survival chances are quite good. How much of his brain is left will be an open question unless he wakes up. It can take 72 hours or longer to know, especially given that he’s likely otherwise healthy

Also other than this happening in the Super Bowl this has to be a perfect storm kind of a situation for the NFL.

-likely most watched game of the season.
-fantasy super bowls on the line.
-massive playoff implications.
-two of the top teams in the league.

If this was Arizona vs. Cleveland they would just cancel the game and people would care on a sub-Shazier level.
