2022 Midterm Elections (Abandon hope all ye who enter here) butnahhh. or maybe?

I cast my vote today against the 99% likely to win incumbent R in the House. Nothing else on the ballot. It was still worthwhile for me though because I moved to a new voting location, now I’ll know where to go when there’s something more winnable on the ballot.

At least you have a choice. My district belongs to human trashcan Paul fucking Gosar and he ran unopposed. Thanks Arizona!

Yeah, PI was goofy even before all the smart money bailed out. Probably ever weirder now.

If nothing else the predictit numbers are stark because of how much they have shifted. The Dems were favored in most of those not that long ago.

Seems like a lot of steam chasing.

Dems obv gonna get smoked but the polling is all over the place and at this point variance is probably good for Dems. But it always seems to come from undercounting racist mouthbreathing MAGA idiots so WAAF duh

Pittsburgh is Southwest PA. I live outside Philly if you have questions about SE PA.

Yeah the Dems have used their abundant free time to perfect the scam of creating so many “unique” mailing lists and PACs that no matter how many you get removed from, twice as many more pop up.

Grunching, sorry if this has been posted:

Anonynous pole for people who have a US Senate seat on the ballot in their precinct:

  • I voted or will vote dem
  • I will not vote
  • I voted or will vote 3rd party
  • I wrote in or will write in

0 voters

This is definitely how I remember the last three elections playing out too.

I have a bad feeling about this. Anyone want to take action on senate control? I’ll put up $100 that Repubs win at even money.

OK,

@anon38180840 , same q

You trying to commute to a certain area? Prefer city, suburbs, or rural? Renting or buying? Townhouse/apartment/house? Trying to avoid conservative areas? Any other specifics you’re looking for? Or just prioritizing affordable/safe?

Cheaper than a blue checkmark!
