Hard to get that worked up about Federal elections next week when the best case outcome is the most insane House of our lifetimes.
Iām just trying to mentally survive another week before the real depression sets in.

I just assume the young Rs are waiting til election day because they know from the MyPillow guy that early voting is rigged and they want to make sure their vote counts.

Just tune out for a while. It will not be healthy to willfully submit yourself to the Red Wedding. Just accept things for how they are and hope for the best and opt out of the outrage machine to keep yourself as sane as possible as we continue the long slow march to deplorable rule.

Unless of course you want to be a democracy superstar and try to fight to be the change you want to see. All in favor of that, but assuming youāre a regular non-participant (for better or worse), save yourself the stress imo.

Ill probably quit following politics all together after the massacre. What is really the point then? Its going to be two years of stonewalling with nothing getting done, and then likely an even worse outcome in 2024.

Sunday was my first time in the wild seeing a negative ad pretend to be a positive ad. Our American Century PAC ran it against Maggie Hassan in NH, I was half listening to it, first half was cheering Hassan on for voting with Biden, and said something about āOther democratic leaders (shows picture of Manchin and Sinema) wonāt stand with Biden, but Maggie doesā, seemed like an odd flex, but OK.
Closes with something like āShe also supports fighting climate change, acknowledging white supremacy is a national security threat, transgender rights and critical race theory. Call her to say thank you!ā and I was like waittaminnitā¦
