Mastriano isn’t coming withing 10 points of winning, I’m very confident on that. As bad as it was I’m not sure if it really swings it. A bunch of people have already locked in who they’re voting for and this won’t sway them one way or the other. Just hoping there’s not enough persuadable people who will hear about this and care enough to switch their votes because of it.

Hard to imagine anybody actually switching votes over something like this, but it’s easy to imagine someone that was planning on voting for Fetterman staying home.
Maybe, hopefully they still fear Mastriano enough to turn out to stop him and then vote for Fetterman anyway. Idk, I think we are biased by following it too closely but like I said, this will really put to the test if debates matter or not.
There was just absolutely no reason to debate. If a debate can’t help you, the play has been shown to be “fuck you, no.” Major unforced error.
One good thing is that this was only broadcast on PHL17 in the Philadelphia market, and Verizon recently dropped that channel. So no Verizon customers had easy access to watch live. Obviously that doesn’t matter in 2022, but it certainly doesn’t hurt in this case.
