I’ve never understood not taking your final timeout immediately after the first down play. What is gained by waiting? Maybe on 2nd down they throw incomplete and stop the clock for you.

I wouldn’t have called it at all before 3rd down. You want clock to burn before you get it back. if they turn it over there’s way too much time and you can’t challenge with 0 to’s above 2 min.
