I agree with these, with also thinking that the TO gives the Raiders a perhaps longshot chance to reconsider running a real play and just taking a knee. It seemed to be certain that the Raiders were running a real play before the TO was taken. Maybe the Chargers were assuming the knee and were totally unprepared?
Steelers fans stayed up past midnight to sweat a 3-score overtime that grants them the privilege of being humiliated next week in primetime. Tie would have been great rustlage but this is also a good outcome.
The spot where the Chargers really blew it was not running more clock once they got into FG range in OT. If they go run-run-run-FG there, clock is low enough that Raiders get one first down and very likely decide to pack it in at their own 40 or so.

But also leaves them with a chance to win a Super Bowl, something the Chargers don’t have.

Both they and the Raiders were snapping the ball with 10-15 on the playclock early in OT too.
It was the opposite of earlier when the Ravens and Steelers tried to run out the clock when they both needed a win. Tomlin even took a knee before kicking the FG lolololol.

They played recently. Chiefs had an off game and the Steelers needed a win else by Week 18 they would have needed a miracle. KC won by 26.
I guess that was fun for a few minutes, but it never was a serious threat after that. IIRC they were down by halftime and never had the lead again.
