The Raiders were playing for a field goal to end regulation. If the Chargers stop the Raiders on 3rd down and thereās 35 seconds left, the Raiders would probably punt instead of try a long FG. The TO made total sense. Staley is smart.
Raiders should twist the knife and say yah we were gonna give up and tie it before that timeout to sow doubt and unrest.
