Doesn’t seem like this has been discussed? Funny shit in the Bills/Falcons game. Falcons trail 29-15 with 6:07 left in the 4th, 2nd and goal from BUF 7. Matt Ryan runs out of the pocket and slides into the endzone, touchdown. He jumps up and blatantly gets in the face of one of the defenders. The refs duly call the taunting penalty, to be assessed after the kickoff, and then review the TD. Because Ryan slid, he’s ruled down as soon as his knee hits, even though not touched. He’s just short, TD overturned. Taunting penalty is assessed immediately, it’s now 3rd and 16. He throws two incompletions, Falcons lose, eliminated from playoffs. Incredible self-own.
