As an FSU fan, I always felt like Jimbo was in this category. He rode Rapeis and Kelvin Benjamin to a natty, but always felt like those 2 years with tons of wins were pretty fraudulent and then they got exposed by Oregon in the playoff and then it all came crumbling down. His in-game decision making was always terrible and he was always holding up the program for extra cash w/his scumbag agent.

Agreed and it was pretty unfair to Willie Taggart. No idea if he was a good coach or not b/c even the lovechild of Vince Lombardi and Saban would’ve lost a ton of games in the first 3 years post Jumbo.
