Fat Mike would kick a field goal.

I guess punt was worse than I thought. I was guestimating a difference of about half of that.

Yeah I never would have thought punting was -20-25 in win %.

Well, Edwards Soler is about as worthless as Jorge. Pretenders. Versus an injury-decimated team with 15 players on the IL.

Would love to see the Chargers come to Arrowhead and win next week.

Clyde really looked like the perfect fit for the chiefs offense coming out but he’s just not good.

He looks slower than last year. I wonder if that ugly groin injury at the end of the year messed him up.

He’s decent at yards after contact. But he seems to have terrible vision and isn’t good at making the first guy miss.

This is not good.

at this point I reckon they’ll cut clark in the offseason, you’re stuck with CEH another year unless you can find some team to dump him on. Jones is good though.

lots of people saying CEH is too slow, but there’s plenty of slow guys who are fine or are even doing well, he just has too poor vision.

He did get an ankle sprain in the preseason as you noted, might not be 100%

Yeah they’ll keep playing CEH for this year and next, but start cutting his carries and working in Darryl Williams and McKinnon more. But if CEH doesn’t improve our running game is fucked. They aren’t going to give up on him.

Total lotto with this team. Looks like the defense from 2018. Wait till they have some injuries.

I think the D will improve. Hopefully Gay will be healthy and help. Nnadi is nursing something so they have him on limited snaps.

Our D looked pretty atrocious mid-2019, then pulled it together. This game reminded me of the Titans game that year.

But Jarran Reed looks like a big disappointment - which no one saw coming. Also my hopes that Frank Clark would juice up for what is an effective contract year don’t seem to have come to fruition. And Chris Jones is a huge liability at DE. Bolton is raw and will have issues.

It’s unsportsmanlike conduct

Also throwing the ball straight into the air

Great game

I’m not suggesting that going for it wasn’t the right play, but that win percentage if fail doesn’t seem right to me.

You’re telling me that if you give the ball back to Patrick Mahomes at the BAL 43 down by just 1 point with a minute to go, the Chiefs only win 58% of the time? Really?

I assume it’s calibrated to an NFL-average team, because that’s the only way you can get enough of a sample size to compute something like that. Like, you take all the NFL data going back to, well, I’m not sure, but hopefully not too far back when rules were substantially different, and ask how often do teams win when there’s a certain score differential at a given down, distance, and time on the clock. You then constrain the model so that win probability is monotonically decreasing for a given down and time with increasing distance, etc., and do your best fit.

Yeah I’d say conservatively the Chiefs are probably 95% to at least get off a reasonable field goal attempt there. Butker is probably 80% to make whatever FG they give him (this includes 55-yarders).

The chances the Chiefs score too quick and the Ravens drive down the field aren’t zero, but they’re pretty low. Let’s say 2%

So if the Chiefs get the ball back at the 43 with 1 minute, 5% we lose by turnover or downs. 17% of the time we miss the FG. And maybe 2% of the time we score too quick and lose. So we win 76% of the time, which still feels low with Mahomes.

But then again Clete Blakeman. Who was calling a very attention-whore game on both sides of the ball.

You guys basically lost that game on a phantom call on honey badger when they sacked Jackson

Clete made a lot of bad calls agains the Ravens too.

Has there ever been a safer bet than Aaron Rodgers walking on the Lions’ faces tonight? Bad game last week, getting chided by the likes of Bill Cowher, Mayim Bialik’s first Jeopardy episode is tonight, faces Detroit. Everything is coming up Godgers.

If GB tanks it tonight, the takes will be amazing.
