One of the wildest Brady stats is that he is now 20-9 in games where he throws 50 passes (last night is a little odd, though - he only got there with the three intentional throw aways to burn clock at the end of the game). Of QBs that have at least 5 games of 50 throws, only 3 others have winning records:
McNabb: 4-2-1
Fouts: 3-2
Derek Carr: 3-2
Warren Moon: 5-5
Marino: 5-11
P. Manning: 4-13
Brees: 4-15
Large Ben: 4-11
Rodgers: 3-6
Favre: 3-9
Mahomes is 1-1, I expect he’ll have a winning record eventually.

Hence the absurdity of him being 20-9 (6-2 in the playoffs).

Dak is 1-3 in 50 attempt games throwing 57 and 58 passes in losses last year.
They put stat up too in situation down by fg or less with 2 minutes to go he is 9-18. Which is crazy too.
That Zeke contract is looking especially terrible now…Pollard is clearly better.
I wonder if they put a minimum threshold of time when they queried for that stat - like you have to get the ball back with at least 30 seconds or something for it to “count” as an attempt.
For example, last night Dak technically got the ball back in that exact situation - down 2 with less than 2 minutes to go - but just 2 seconds left. That little time left should get filtered out of that stat - it shouldn’t count as a loss in that situation (down by FG or less with 2 mins to go) for Dak.
I’m surprised we haven’t heard a “but nobody else runs up the score like a Belichick team herp derp” comment.

Of the 20 wins, Brady only won 3 of them by more than 8 points - two regular season games in 2014 and one playoff game against the Titans in 2018. They were all blowouts - in the Detroit 2014 game he threw 10 4th quarter passes and against Denver it was only 6. In the Titan playoff blowout he threw 9 4th quarter passes, but only 2 with less than 10 minutes left. So they clearly weren’t running it up.
The other 17 were all single score games.
