Grunching, but Kelly leaving a team still in contention to win the National Championship is one of the most shocking things to ever happen in college sports. Enjoy that money Brian! I don’t care about Notre Dame at all but there’s no way to put a positive spin on this for him.

-coach has to quit after getting caught hiding sex assault at prior job
-Tucker leaves MSU for $150 million deal. His buyout is only a couple million.
Good coaches refer to their players as men because it lets the players know they are no longer boys. This results in better throws, better catches, and more violent hits because that’s what men do.

Harbaugh pledging his bonus money to people who had their salaries cut in the athletic department is a stark contrast to what’s going on right now. Dude is weird.

Really? If I was his boss I’d probably be thinking this mfer is mocking me. Instead it’s probably a chic-fil-a situation and they’ll a have a cheery ad about how the department is a family out for Christmas.
harbaugh is a weird dude man. I think it’s in a good way, but I really don’t think he gives a shit about money the way other people do. I’m sure lots of coaches care a ton about the difference between 4m and 8m per year, but he took a big pay cut last year and restructured his contract so that bonuses made up the difference… and then declined them.
I really think he feels connected to AA and UM in a way that other people always say they do… but he’s sincere about it.

Meh, he’s from another time. He grew up there, went to school there. UM is a bit of a cult environment. He’s got the ultimate job for him.
Completely agree on the word sincere. He is who he is. I’m certain there is not one iota of criticism of the department involved with his donation.
