2021 College Football Gameday Thread

Auburn is so fucked unless they get a new QB.

Who is the next guy up? I honestly do not know

Auburn has no QB and no kicker. This should go well.

omg - Virginia just run what is hands down the stupidest play I have ever seen a team run in any sport.

Down 5, a minute or so left, 3rd and 7 on Virginia Tech’s 8 yard line. Normally, Virginia has one of the best offenses in the league, but their QB hurt his ankle, so the offense struggled in the second half. Yet here they are, a chance to take the lead.

3rd and 7. 8 yard line. Have to score a TD or at least get a first to extend the game.

Designed play, threw a backwards pass to an OFFENSIVE LINEMAN and it didn’t even look like it was designed for him to then throw it, as he immediately ran. Loss of 6 yards. Next play, incomplete, game over.

No idea, but a guy out of the crowd is going to be more effective than Finley right now.

Lolburn with the epic WIL.

I was driving today - listened to the OSU/Mich game on Sirius - Dan Dierdorf and whoever. That was pretty cool. Dierdorf got choked up when the play by play guy congratulated him on his first win over OSU in the booth.

If he just would have dove with the ball and touched it down on the ground he’d be good.

just stop trying to run

Which down does Finley throw a pick on? I got 2nd.

Auburn going for two if they somehow punch it in here?

touched the helmet so facemask

I’ll say 3rd after Auburn does two meh runs.

fucking earhole

Dude gotta lunge for the 1st down there holy shit

Here come 2 backward runs.

It’s the biggest mistake of the game by any actor on the team.

It’s an aggressive call that relies on the qb getting down in bounds when there isn’t anything wide open.

The playbook is way smaller with 40 less seconds and Auburn’s D had controlled the entire game.

yep

Probably better they didn’t get a yard there because they weren’t running it in on 3rd.

omg
