Socialism hurt (the phrase, not the actual things) but it wasnât the dagger defund the police was for the dâs that lost house races. For all absolutely warranted talk of bad dem messaging that was the biggest blunder and it got attached to them anyway and I donât blame them for being mad about that.

Florida is at least a funny state. Nothing humorous about Ohio. Just assholes like Riverman used to play golf with with, who incidentally are prime suspects for shy Trump voters. âYeah were a swing state LOLâ followed by an 8 point +R swing against 538 average and red shifts in huge parts of the state vs 2016. gop are going to call is socialism anyway. it really doesnât matter. we need to message how this version of social progress is going to be different. as in the institution of medicare4all needs transparency and accountability of its performance to the elected congress. in a way other social programs right now (like VA) currently arenât.

Ohio is terrible and I truly believe the white people in Ohio are more racist than the white people in South Carolina. Just an awful place that is going to slowly become West Virginia 2.0 over the next few decades.
Southern racism is different. Itâs more familiar and congenial.
Racism + midwestern sincerity = bad juju.
