First time Iād tried one. Like it was a silly reason but leading up to it we wanted a nice Scotch to celebrate, and Blue for Dems seemed like an obvious choice. I really enjoyed it, whether that says good or bad things about my palateā¦ I donāt care at the moment cause WE GOT HIM!!!

Man, just read about the Reagan presidency. Seriously, Iām not joking, read a modern account of that era and donāt just rely on what you remember from childhood. All of the shit you hate about Trump is stuff that was invented way back in the 80ās. The naked racist dogwhistling. The made-for-TV idiocratic personality cult surrounding him. The corruption, the breakdown of norms. He was caught red-handed committing impeachable offenses in the Iran-Contra scandal, but he was so popular with low-info, proto-Fox News viewers that there was never any question of ever holding him accountable.
Seriously, Reagan just set the mold for Donald Trump. Except he was a bit more savvy about toning down his racism and was a bit more enthusiastic about expanding the military-industrial complex and dicking around with shitty illegal foreign wars.
