Itâs interesting, I have talked to quite a few people this last week about this, and so many people were sweating this result.
I visited my doctor yesterday and his primary take was he just wanted it to go back to being boring. Many others just do not want to think about how the president might screw them or people they care about EVERY SINGLE DAY.
It has been an absolutely exhausting four plus years and it has sapped a lot of energy collectively that could have been focused on good deeds.

The reason Vegas hasnât paid out on the election yet, is that betting on US elections is illegal in Nevada.

I would be curious to see how much better all the state polls look in hindsight if you just add 90% of the âundecidedâ vote to Trump. Several of us were advocating this approach for months.

Of course. Murdoch owns most of the newspapers in Australia (The Sydney Morning Herald and Melbourneâs The Age are the big exceptions) and also Foxtel, the major cable provider, which is where Sky News is. Most Australians donât have cable, people watch free to air plus Netflix et al. But Murdochâs newspapers, while all conservative, donât have the insane tenor of Fox News and the derposphere. Theyâre more like the Wall Street Journal on the highbrow end down to the NY Post on the lowbrow end. A mainstream outlet willing to run a quote like that is a pretty new arrival here.

My point is, 70 million of our fellow citizens voted for a cartoon. I literally lack the vocabulary to describe all the different ways I think heâs unfit or how much I loathe that man. Yet he not only managed to receive ~1/2 the votes this election, but more than anyone other person in history, save for Biden (another person Iâm not thrilled with)

It doesnât help. Wisconsin was 51% RCP / 53.7% 538 and heâll probably finish with just under 49.5%, as one example. There werenât that many undecideds around.
