No itās like Wargames where you have one for the left and one for the right hand. Small wingspans have struggled with this.
AFAIK, thereās no human monitoring the machines. You just stick your card in the device and select your vote. They might have upgraded (doubtful), but I found this picture of what they looked like in 2018
Does each representative have their own machine? And does the card only work in their machine? Seems like someone would have seen who went over to Donaldās machine and started pushing buttons.
Thatās actually one of the new ones that they installed in 2018.

No. There are multiple machines throughout the chamber (like @NotBruceZ said, Iāve read that 50 is the number), but not one machine per member and my understanding is that any card works on any/all of the machines.
ETA: iād think theyād be able to tell who used the machine right before the Donald vote, but I donāt have any actual knowledge of how that part of the system works. Also, Iām guessing this isnāt the first time that the card has been given to a āproxyā so they might not be incentivized to investigate too hard.
Proxy voting should be legal but the Republicans didnāt want that, unless theyāre the ones who want to vote proxy.
The only way I would care about her opening her mouth is if she imitated Budd Dwyer.
