World Cup 2022: Congrats to Argentina and the GOAT (WATCH THIS GAME, BEST GAME EVER)

Hakimi absolutely is, but they are a defender.

So happy they are losing now cause the whistling is obnoxious.

Itā€™s obnoxious to try and put the other team off? To try and intimidate them? oh fuck off. One of the pleasures of being a fan is laughing and wallowing in the misfortune of others.

At least two Morocco players could play for top teams.

None of them are strikers. Didnā€™t mean to imply Morocco was all league 2 scrubs.

corn cob alexi, elote ronaldo, larga vida a messi

Reading more about this Messi guy, apparently he was shot full of steroids and other performance enhancing drugs by one of the Euro clubs as a young boy so the could reach his current size and build? I wonder if heā€™d be good enough to play at a high level without all that doping?

oh senor give yourself to lionel, just let it happen, si si senor heā€™ll be so good so gentle

Lol he taunted the Netherlands players after they lost. Heā€™s a classless piece of shit.

Yes, if he hadnā€™t taunted the poor Dutch boys, Keed would be cool with him being ā€œpumped full of steroidsā€.

Keed is a classist?

I definitely donā€™t care what peds this Messi guy is on. Iā€™m rooting against Argentina because they seem to be one of the worse diving teams in the cup and their poor sportsmanship. I donā€™t like the winning team taunting the losers of a game after winning, itā€™s totally classless.

Has he ever scored a header?

Not sure if serious.

So regarding the Wahl thing, that sounds like an aortic dissection. Aneurysms put you at higher risk of it. It can happen a few ways. It can be catastrophic and act like a burst pipe, or it can be what it sounds like here, where the walls give out a bit and blood goes where it isnā€™t supposed to.

Iā€™ve had a case like this, and it sticks with me pretty hard. I was an intern and saw this 60-ish guy come in with chest pain via EMS with a smile on is face. He coded five minutes later. Got him back after some epinephrine and chest compressions. Did a bedside echo, saw a bunch of fluid around his heart, and stuck a big ass needle in to suck it out. When it came back filled with blood I was mortified, as I though I put a needle into this guys heartā€¦ but no it was just blood from the dissection. Got pulses back three times doing this over two hours, but it took a bit to get an actual drain in there. By the time we did we couldnā€™t get him back. It wouldnā€™t have mattered, that manā€™s fate was sealed before I saw him. Survival rate for that is incredibly low unless you land into a CT surgeons lap (and there arenā€™t many of those).

Thereā€™s another famous case of this named Jonathan Larson (the guy who wrote Rent - the musical). That one was missed despite going to multiple hospitals.

Aortic dissection is the great imitator. It can cause all sorts of symptoms, and is incredibly easy to miss. Itā€™s one of the most feared diagnosis of ER doctors, as you canā€™t do a CTA on everyone, itā€™s easily missed, and is deadly.

Damn sad that Wahl is gone. He was a force for good.

Likely that he will have major heart surgery later this month. No emergency, but expecting to do the fix before it gets worse. Aneurysm of the ascending thoracic aorta.

This is what my mom said my stepdad is having surgery for on Jan 6th. 5 days in the hospital, then 2 months of recovery. Should I be worried?
