They had a great reason to not start him. I have zero complaints of playing the MMA midfield plus Weah and Pulisic. Especially when they floated into the 4-4-2 formation against England/Iran. Sure as shit won’t start when he turns into a little crybaby over not starting. Needs to grow up.
It’s still not exactly clear what happened. He might’ve been told he wasn’t starting against Wales because he wasn’t ready yet (defensible decision given he wasn’t 90 minutes fit even for club, and Weah clearly has performed for the US), could’ve been that he was experiencing tightness he wanted to play through and the coaching staff wanted to be more cautious and limit his role until further in the cup, or it could’ve been that they just thought he was better off the bench than the other options (Pulisic, Weah, McKennie on a formation change, Sargent on a position change). I think more has to come out before we actually know if GGG was actually in the wrong at all.
Regardless he shouldn’t act like a baby regardless of the reason, unless (even then…) Gregg was being a complete shit bag or behaving unreasonably, but given his own teammates were furious at him and Adams got into a scrap with his effort, I’m willing to bet it was something reasonable.
Yeah I still don’t know why the hell he said it to this conference when McKennie’s escapade is basically the same thing and public. I know it was thought to be off the record, but come on dude. Though apparently Athletic was going to release it on Monday anyways through a source.
Why can’t both Argentina wear their iconic white and blue stripes and Croatia wear their iconic red and white checkered shirts? I feel like we are smart enough to tell the difference.

Edit: and don’t get me started on this dirty nicotine smokers teeth ball they are footing around out there.
