Have to say, while I have the WAAF badge and get discouraged a lot, seeing the 5th straight day of reconciliation and indigenous stories being the headline in every news source in Canada and the last few days Greenwood dominating US coverage there is some hope for a rebalancing of the racial power structure in North America.

I’d guess there has been more coverage of reconciliation in Canada in the past 5 days than in the previous decade combined.

There may be a legal obligation to render aid that isn’t nullified by the fact that the party in distress is an asshole.

Yeah that’s true but since they all had vests and didn’t look to be drowning I would be worried about allowing someone like that on my boat, usually the people who are more open about their bigotry are also probably more likely to do something violent as well

I would just maybe wait for the authorities to come scoop them out the water but not let them on the boat unless they were in danger of drowning. The universe sent a message to them let them chill in the water a little lol
