Man sometimes you think you got a handle on life and something happens and you totally miss it.
We we’re having dinner with my parents at a restaurant and we’re talking about his day. He talking about how they changed his medication and suddenly he lost all memory. Like everything but low level motos skill stuff. Didn’t recognize his coworkers, his boss, my mom.
For unknown reasons they were like “take the day off and go lay down“ and that’s what we did.
He’s telling me this a week later and he finishes off with something like this happened when I took some other medication but it faded within a day, this has been going on month, I hope it goes away"
And my dumbass was like “yeah, take it easy get some sleep.” and we kept having dinner.
This then finally after a week or so someone he calls the doctor for something unrelated and during the call he tells the doctor he can’t remember names. The doctor tells him to get an MRI immediately and sure enough he suffered a massive stroke
