Who will run in 2020?

I think a lot of it is fleecing the flock. Have you seen the chain-style emails I get sent to one of my accounts? I’ve posted several. I think far more money is generated from that than you think.

“It doesn’t take much imagination to understand that Trump will be saying, ‘You see this guy? He voted for NAFTA,’ ” Sanders said.

Sanders also cast Biden as part of the political elite, cozy with Wall Street and unable to confront major financial institutions because of his record, such as his support for the bank bailout in 2008.

“People are tired of the traditional types of campaigns in which candidates like Joe are running to wealthy people’s homes and raising large sums of money,” Sanders said.

The Biden campaign declined to comment.

Ok, so shouldn’t Bernie be attacking Biden over that on a debate stage?

He wants to be careful, I think. Reminder that even now, per Morning Consult polls, Sanders is the most common second choice of Biden supporters, you want to be careful not to alienate people who barely know what NAFTA is by attacking a guy they like. I think it’s appropriate for him to circulate these concerns in the media, where they’ll be seen by high-info types, as a way of chipping away at the portion of Biden’s base who just think he’s the most electable. Maybe you can mention it on stage in a non-combative way as well, but a Castro style attack seems like a bad idea. It could seriously backfire. Attacks are generally made from a position of weakness.

Biden will self-destruct, he literally can’t speak English (though he’s helped by the infuriating positive bigotry of low expectations - see also Trump, Donald). Bernie’s play is to let one of the desperate-for-VP long shots to Chris Christie Grandpa Joe.

We’ll see. We all thought Trump would eventually implode as well. I think it could still go either way.

The issue with that is that most of those desperate-for-VP long shots are either already dropped out or aren’t going to hit the criteria for the next debate stage. I doubt you get like, Klob lobbing bob-ombs at Biden when she is drawing live to be his VP pick, too.

Well, good chance that Biden will forget anything nasty said during the campaign - I’d guess he’s foggy on what he had for breakfast today.

But yeah, SOMEONE is going to be the VP pick if Biden wins - so all out attack ads seem less likely - if Biden wins, he’s already said he’s only serving one term (if that) - so being VP would be a fairly big deal, I’d guess.

As long as the stapler stay on her desk I’m cool with that…

This is stupid. Bloomberg ain’t the president!
Maybe if he becomes POTUS we can come back and look at this…but atmo he’s just a businessman doing his thing who hopefully won’t even become the Dem nominee.

You sound like a fan of Democracy Dollars

What about Bernie? You have Bernie #1 now right? And you used to have him way below Liz?

He is obviously not going to be the nominee.
