If we treat the hypothetical that the polling margin of Biden 55-45 and eg Warren as something closer as being from a peek into the future multiverse of election eve polling instead of far shakier head to head hypotheticals at the time of a brokered convention, I might take Biden if Warren were merely 53-47, not because of just the presidency, but because of the Senate. Biden with total control is way better than Warren with a GOP Senate. I’d have to check senate polling to see what sort of margins it would take to be more precise, though.
I’m not sure it makes a difference for senate given manchin/sienma anyway.

heh, no idea. I’m sure they have one, but I can really only speak to CA on the ground level. No idea of the overall strategy nationwide. There are experts working for him that handle that shit.

You have to be very careful about polls. Nobody put it better than Chomsky when he said the biggest surprise in 2016 wasn’t Trump. It was Bernie Sanders. A guy who refused big corporate donations and rose to tremendous popularity through small individual donations, and who would’ve WON the democratic primary if it weren’t for the Democratic managers playing games while the media ignored him. And people wonder why some of us hate these Democratic leaders
I still say Sanders has the best shot at beating Trump. Who here is excited about voting for Biden? Who else gins up the passion and desire for change that Sanders does? I think Sanders would destroy Trump in the general ainec
