i guess playboy dropped her(not sure what she was currently doing for them), but the first like 3-5 places that came out with statements that were “firing” her, she said she didnt even have contracts or work for… just using her name and the situation for an attempt to boost their own popularity.
i’m kind of interested in the tweets i’ve been seeeing about comparing the language in the israel/palestine conflict. i’ve seen quite a bit of “israeli’s killed” while “palestinian’s dead”.
i wonder how much that kind of language conditions us in situations like this.

Tom Friedman has been essential reading. Tonight’s offering, which starts with a deep, wise reminder of how India responded to the Mumbai terrorist attacks in 2008, is a case in point. I highly recommend it.
Friedman’s article is, of course, baby-brained, but he is at least calling for a ceasefire in it.
