So, thanks for your submissions all. I hate to disappoint any of you.
Coming in last with 1 pt (or was it supposed to be 0? anyway I started at 1 the first time) was the winner of the last one I judged. Sorry KingOfNY, this scene just didn’t do it for me.

I hate to do this because this scene is brilliant. It could have been a submission for the last category I put up for more brilliant scenes. I love the scene. I love the movie. I love Monty Python. But, not that funny. All the other scenes submitted made me laugh a bit, even if I had seen them many times - so, chaulk it up to tough competition.

Judging got really hard here. It could almost be a 4-way tie from here on out. This is a great movie and the scene has a good laugh in it, but I guess it’s just not quite as good. Bill Murray is like consistently funny, but maybe too much of this is just being carried by a couple seconds of Bill Murrayism. Great pick though.

Ok, I thought about changing up 2 and 3, but I’ma leave it the way I had it. This entry is brilliant, but maybe a hair less funny than #2. It may be that this suffers from my seeing it so much. I’ve probably seen this 100 times.

2nd place. This is a very funny and well made movie and if you haven’t seen it (I assume you’ve all seen the Monty Python and Groundhog’s Day). The scene starts off a little less funny, but it’s a funny scene.

And that leaves the winner with 6 points. I’ve seen this movie several times and I’ve watched this clip many many times and I still got a couple laughs out of it. I really love the gag at the beginning.
