I was going to say I would be happy to run one for all those that don’t make it into this 10 (there would probably be close to 10 more). I might post something now using the same timeframe as you so I can do some prep on the weekend.

I do think if they’re going to be limited then having multiple open is fine. Not sure if there are enough people to do the judging to have more than one long-form one at a time in addition to the smaller ones, though.

I guess you don’t listen to many new releases. None of your favorite bands released anything in 2019? “Best of the year” lists are of no interest to you?

Give them no quarter! Listen to some new music you filthy olds, I promise some of it is good. Worst comes to worst I think Beyonce and Taylor Swift have released albums since last year, just find something you like off of those (just 2 top 40 artists off the top of my head).

Geez “song from 2019” was the easiest and I’m not young. It doesn’t have to be a top 40 hit I hope!
One thing I like about Apple Music is it has a personalized new releases section. I am bad at keeping up with current music and I would probably otherwise miss a lot of stuff.
And even if you actively avoid new artists, bands from your youth won’t stop making records even if you sort of wish they would. Beck and the Goo Goo Dolls both released albums in the past couple of months!

Idk about Goo Goo Dolls but Beck’s music is still rocking, not sure I’ve heard his newest stuff but really liked what I heard from his last album a few years back.
