I’m not really churchy, but they tend to be the “best” imho.
Musically-speaking, O Holy Night is gorgeous. For Unto Us a Child is Born is lovely and nuanced. But they are so full of Jesus that it might not be your cup of tea.
Popular? Last Christmas by Wham is the only one I can tolerate more than once per season.
My favorite because it reminds me of home and my childhood and my dad:
