It’s fun to go back to KC and literally hear the exact same DJs playing the exact same songs on 101 The Fox from when I left 25 years ago. It’s like a Twilight Zone episode - but comforting somehow.

I liked that it was an old song when they were still in their London roots. A newer song with Stevie wouldn’t have as strong of a connection.
Same for me, except I seem to have gotten myself stuck here and it’s not nearly so charming anymore.

Thanks. I enjoyed listening to these and thinking and writing about them with a bit of research thrown in, but it’s very time-consuming as you know and it understandably pisses people off a bit when there’s almost no overlap with their musical taste and they keep getting low points.

Yes, though that rhythm section was one of the best in rock I reckon.
Just a shame what happened to Green because he was such a beautiful player.
I fell asleep after school to that Spanish guitar part and I had this dream where it was like birds-eye/news footage view of all these disaster and rescue scenes - but set to that soundtrack.
Stuff like when the airplane skidded into the Potomac and they were trying to fish people out with life preservers before they drowned. It was pretty intense. I’ve always thought it would work in a movie.
What was your favorite song of the lot?
Inhale Exhale from round 1, but with a special mention for Sierra Ferrell.

Ugh. How do I run so bad. Of COURSE I find a way to pick the artists most hated by whoever’s running the walrus. I think this might actually be my superpower.
Fuck it. I love that new album by Numan and you can’t take that away from me. (I actually agree that he was underwhelming back in the day)

I’m pretty sure this particular WalrusMaster is on record as being against all flair and badges. 
They were designed as badges, but when badges were disabled they were also made into flair with associated groups. There’s a WalrusChampion group that nobody has joined yet! I would be rocking that flair with pride if I could (and will be soon 
)
