Yesterday’s episode of Chapo got into this. No one wants war right now and we should be demanding our politicians take a strong anti-war stance. They accurately point out that of all the Dem presidential candidates, Bernie is the only one that can credibly take that stance.

According to a guy located in Erbil, per a KRG commander, no missiles hit installations in Erbil, yet Iran announced they fired missiles at Erbil. Assuming all this is accurate, this means that US anti-missile defences intercepted the missiles. It may well be that some of that information is not accurate, though.
The nerve of fucking David Frum to think he can comment on what is or isn’t going to happen here.

Aren’t China and Russia doing military exercises with Iran right now? Like, that could change the calculus significantly as far as what Iran would and wouldn’t do.

I mean I hope Trump stands down. But good lord can you imagine what they all would be saying if Iran had done this while Obama was president, and the US had not responded with overwhelming force?
