Started 0-2, it seems like my ‘good’ teams all struggle at the start and get a decent waver pickup or two to make up for awful drafting. This year is an ok team with ridiculous luck, fully expect it to run out next week.

I think the secret to this game is to pick rookie RBs who are less likely to be injured.
They all get hurt too. It’s just variance if they’re not this year.
NFL RB is a tough living.

I know it’s good for the NFL writ large but college offenses bleeding into the pros have really killed full season fantasy imo
I would argue it’s easier than it’s ever been to be an NFL rb. The days of the every-down feature back are done and gone. Henry and Taylor and Barkley are anomalies. Rbbc is standard now with more and more teams going with rpo offenses and hell do they even need running backs really? It used to be you drafted 1. RB 2. RB every year. When did you last do that?
Plus your rpo QB is by god GOING to spend time on IR, it is a mortal lock. You wouldn’t be a total moron to draft QB-QB in early rounds.
And wtf know what wr is getting the ball week to week? Or if your star wr is even getting the ball with the threat of the QB running it. Game’s leaving us behind man.

Only because I realized we had a weird 3 wr starting requirement. Every other league I’m auto RB in first two rounds.
Looking back at the draft, almost every RB was over drafted

Henry was underdrafted until he got injured. Probably same for Kareem Hunt and Chase Edmunds.

My theme all season has been my impeccable defense. It seems fitting that I’m relying on Miamis defense to score 7 points to get the win. I don’t even know how a defense scores points.
Also, good guy @MichaelDavis pmed me right before the start of the game the other night to let me know my player was scratched. Props.

The shit that really sucked for me was the late Steelers TD and the absurd Knox TD when Buffalo did a shovel pass up 5 on 1st down on the goalline with three minutes left and NE having only one time out. I get that Allen prob just keeps if it’s not wide open, but it’s so nonsensical to throw a pass there, it can always be dropped. That sucked.
