For a few moments, it seemed like Kharkiv might fall. Maybe it had already fallen. Had the army deserted? Been killed by last night’s bombardment? Withdrawn to defend Kyiv?
Then, the ambushes began. And it became clear that someone on the Russian side had blundered.

Well he’s already got NATO troops on his borders in Estonia, and Latvia - and Lithuania and Poland if you count the Oblast. And he’s about to have Finland.
