Guy only posts like once a week which seems in the range of someone who’s at war might post. As opposed to “hey I’m at war, but I’m posting 10 times a day”
Guy’s posts are just one off posts about random military pics, not overwrought war tourism stuff
How he fucked up the Russian landing was actually so mundane it seemed real. He didn’t say he did some behind enemy lines stuff. He just heard that there could be some vehicles on the other side of the river. He looked around and found a place that looked like it’d be a good place to build a bridge and relayed it back. Then artillary probably pre calculated or whatever it’s called to hit the position. Then someone else heard some construction sounds from the same location and the artillery did the rest.

Maxim may or may not be a real person, and he may or may not have been the instigator of this, but it does look true that the destruction of an entire Russian battalion happened while they tried to cross the river there:
