This is a good point, I usually use a one hour rule of thumb, I try to have something to eat an hour before intense exercise, and plenty of water before and during.
Sounds like you almost found your upper limit⌠:) Either keep doing it until you stop feeling like youâre going to die or back it off a smidge so you stop feeling like youâre going to die. Remember bike rides are supposed to last for hours not minutes.
Also remember that it doesnât really get any easier, you just go fasterâŚ
When I was doing a lot of riding it took me a while to figure out that I didnât have to pedal as fast as I could in each gear, which let me stay on the bike longer which was my goal. If you keep doing it youâll get better and your lungs will catch up with your legs.
Good luck and stay safe. No gummies at work!
Also, adjust regularly. The unusual pressure on your balls for that long of a period can lend itself to nausea
OK, hereâs an unusual one: took my son to Ernst Quarry / Sharktooth Hill in Bakersfield, CA to dig for marine fossils. Only time I was within 6 feet of another human was when I gave Rob Ernst my $70, and we were outdoors wearing masks. Was a great day with my son and probably would have been pretty cool without him as well.
