This is right up there with the Fox News screenshot of AOC’s policy positions. The horror!

I think sometimes Republicans forget that they should just stop at the socialism and communism cards and not go full on explaining the actual policy positions. It’s always amusing when they forget

I’m reading One Hundred Years of Solitude, and there’s a scene where a bunch of emissaries come to meet with a general in charge of things and make suggestions for policy changes that would shore up support from wealthy Liberals and others for Conservatives.

The general says, “So we’re just fighting for power then?”

And the general is fine with that.

Biden filled some positions in the State department over the weekend. Can’t claim to remember this Victoria Nuland, but she caught my eye. Will be the new Undersecretary for political affairs, which is apparently one of the positions third in the hierarchy (after the Secretary and the Deputy.)

From 2003-2005, Nuland served as the principal deputy foreign policy adviser to Vice President Dick Cheney, exercising an influential role during the years the U.S. invaded and occupied Iraq

Maybe she can finally turn things round over there!

I listened to Samantha Power on Desert Island Discs yesterday - seemed to talk a lot of sense to me. Musical taste not too bad either

The reason he’s DNC chairman is that he had that much money to wastefully spend. The job of the DNC chairman isn’t to win, it’s to raise money.

https://twitter.com/ceciliakang/status/1351170745121071104

The FTC antitrust action against Facebook went forward with a 3-2 vote of commissioners.

I mean the only reason he had any money is because people wanted Lindsey Graham out. Same reason that woman in Kentucky got boat loads. Zero indication of his ability to raise money.

So who’s job is it to coordinate strategy etc for DNC candidates to win? Is that a decentralized each campaign for themselves thing?
