This is pretty good and rife with speculation about who kills and who is killed. I personally have Aubrey Plaza’s husband as either a killer, a killed, or both.
If Ethan and Harper wind up like Shane and Rachel from S1 I’ll be well and done with the series
I really think everyone here is misreading the Rachel turn. It’s not about love or choosing the trophy wife lifestyle. She was trapped and simply responded the way most women in that situation respond. Same way nearly every character through both seasons is written faithfully to their archetypes. Even when that means making mundane choices that the audience will hate. That seems like the entire premise of the show actually.
For the same reason, Harper isn’t staying with Ethan. She’s much more independent, less committed, and certain she wants something different in life. Assuming they both survive the season.
I mean I get it, I just didn’t find it satisfying is all.
This finale is going to either be one of the greatest hours of television ever or they’re going to leave several storylines unresolved.
If Jen Coolidge dies I’ll riot
I forgot (or never realized, I don’t know) that Jennifer Coolidge was the masseuse that Jerry dated on Seinfeld:
She’ll always be Stifler’s mom to me
Wow, she looks and sounds completely different
they don’t really go out on a whim with their predictions.
Watching the latest White Lotus. Jennifer Coolidge’s character actually having a human conversation for once.
White Lotus Rewatched the beginning and noticed this: Who Is Alessio In 'The White Lotus'? Lucia's Guy Is Sus
The Peripheral Episode 8 ending
So Flynn went to an unknown year to create a new Stub, then comes back and returns to her time where she gets buddy to assassinate her. The Flynn in her timeline is now dead. The Flynn in an untraceable timeline was brought up to speed by the original Flynn and wakes up at the end to help the police woman. Correct? Cuz if the normal Flynn is still alive, that makes no sense after a bullet in the head.
So much White Lotus chatter, but reviews seem mixed. Recommended watch?
Yes
IDK sure I’m just glad its over so I don’t have to watch it any more.
in honor of that thread about new jfk revelations i started watching 11.23.63 on hulu and it’s really good.
annoying that they finally figure the best way to stop/figure out the mystery is to stake out inside the book depository the morning of and just tackle whoever is there. i mean that’s what i would do, knowing nothing. these guys spent years digging for clues when ultimately they could have just been partying with the rat pack in vegas betting sports for 3 years, and just done the stakeout with like a couple days prep. dummies.
4 bags of popcorn
Reviews have been unanimously good for S2 I believe. It’s just the Jennifer Coolidge character that’s polarizing. Half think she’s annoying as hell, the other half think she’s incredible.
I rewatched S1 and liked it, although not as much as S2 and the first 3 eps are quite slow, but the last 3 are very good.
I’m going to rewatch S1 too but right now I’m also in the S2 > S1 group.
That being said, Armond is my favorite character from either season.
