My man we were all around for this stuff. Conservatives kept trying to make all sorts of distinctions between gay marriage and non gay marriage. They just got shot down by the Supreme Court. The crusade hasnât been as long or as intense, but this distinction without a difference.

Stand your ground law vs anti abortion laws is interesting, but I donât think you coulld get anyone to take it seriously unless the motherâs life was being threatened but in those cases, the motherâs usually not in a situation to do the abortion herself. I do wonder if a doctor could use it in defense of doing an abortion where the motherâs life was threatened
I think itâs marginally less likely that these justices overturn Loving, but only because these justices have been specifically bred and selected to think Roe is the gravest sin ever in the history of our country. Yeah the logic used by Alito could easily transfer to Loving, but logical consistency doesnât matter to conservatives and I could easily see miscegenation laws being personally distasteful to people like Gorsuch/ACB where abortion bans are not. Iâm sure as hell not betting that Loving stays good law under this court, though.
I listened to 5-4 and was astounded they all said they thought a liberal clerk leaked the draft opinion. Even if you think that, why say it? Fascists are all smart enough to lie while even the âsmartestâ libs are morons.

I mean based on the Stand Your Ground type laws if a person comes onto your property without your permission you have all kinds of legal options to deal with that person.
