“We need to turn down the temperature in America which is why we need someone who can unify blah blah blah.”
American politicians literally NEVER get interviewed correctly. By anyone.

Nah. When you see clips of actual journalists in like New Zealand or other places that don’t have corporate owned / dominated media it’s a real eye opener.

Admittedly this guy is a complete joke and virtually everyone on both sides hates him. He’s an incredibly easy target.
Wrong thread
I don’t see how Hasan isn’t in the same ballpark.
Also, “Jami-Lee”? Are Kiwis generally bad at names or was it just that guy’s parents?

In terms of judicial philosophy, Breyer is associated with pragmatism and the idea of a living Constitution.
It means a republican. Non ideological always means republican.
there are several loaded words that left and right don’t use to mean the same thing. “ideological”, “consistent”, “mainstream”, “constitution”… i could go on, but you get the idea.
Not sure you can call something a “mainstream interpretation” when the car majority of the citizens couldn’t tell you anything substantial about the constitution.
It means that if you want me to do something I don’t want to do, then that’s unconstitutional.
Maybe he means mainstream among legal experts?
