Given that our system and government has been exposed as the flimsy sham it’s always been, I’m very not surprised to learn that nobody is coming to save us.
I know we say it all the time but normies, so like literally 99% of the country, have no fucking idea what’s coming. People just assume it will be like the first term.

i’ve always maintained that the US democracy experiment ended with citizens united. it just takes a decade or so to wind down.

I got told to relax and just enjoy life by my best friend the other day in response to a text i sent regarding chevron and the debates etc and how worried i am. Not sure if I resent him or envy him

Among current “democracies” USA is just about the worst and USA suffers from being pretty much the oldest. Most of Western Europe redid their governments pretty radically after WW2 and lots of other democracies around the world are even younger. Lessons were learned.
