I don’t know? From what I understand Bernie has been getting negative coverage from the media this whole time and it hasn’t stopped to this point, why is he supposed to let it stop him now? He needs warren to drop out to have a chance and he’s worried about optics?

Biden is a fucking idiot. I’m resigned to Trump winning again as that what the Dems want. But I’m sad to miss out on the Nard Dog eviscerate Trump in the debates… Instead we’re stuck with two dolts.

Nobody is rising up to demand anybody. If anybody wins outright it will be a fucking squeaker. The party is almost as divided as the country.

Been saying this for years.

It is what they want. Who is a bigger threat to Schumer or Pelosi’s seat, Trump or Bernie?

I’ll vote for Joe in VA if one of you Cali peeps will write in Bernie for me.

On a related note, the electoral college is so fucking stupid.

If someone actually cared they wouldn’t be arguing for Biden over Trump when it’s Super Tuesday and Bernie is still in the middle of this race. It’s a huge tell.

Aside from fund-raising, [Biden] has not campaigned in a Super Tuesday state in over a month (article is from 2/26), though he is planning to visit North Carolina, Alabama, Virginia, Texas and California between Saturday and Tuesday

I absolutely think Biden will fuck up focusing on those states. He’s visiting Alabama today, a state where he leads Sanders in polling by ~22%.

Well, the tell is people no longer think Bernie is a favorite and are feeling like Dem nominee Biden is inevitable. Still a decent shot Bernie 'wins" super Tuesday, but it feels a bit like blowing a huge lead on the road going into the 4th quarter. You feel like you’re down even if it’s technically tied.

tbf primaries are a totally different ball game. Blowing out someone in a state or preventing them from reaching thresholds in particular counties or statewide can lead to more delegates than trying to win a toss up state.

I think it’s insane to try to pretend like you can predict what will be going on 40 years from now based on an election today. Is anybody blaming Jimmy Carter for what is going on now?

I’m honestly dumbfounded they haven’t taken the guaranteed strategy of telling Trump they’ll rot in hell before they let him confirm “insert the candidate you really want” as a Supreme Court Justice. It could literally be the first time he’s ever heard the name and he’d ram that mfker through in record time just to pwn teh libs.

I don’t know why you guys continue to make this “next 40 years” argument, when the next 2-3 years of a Trump presidency will have ramifications that last 100+ years, and set the country back 50 years.

It’s a huge blind spot.

FYI, about to go vote for Bernie.

Yes. Appointed Volcker to the fed, who raised interest rates to crazy levels in order to deflate the economy which ushered in Reagan and the last 40 years of neoliberal bollocks. Sure not all his fault but yeah he bears some responsibility.

Was the argument why maybe Hillary losing wasn’t end of the wold yet here we are. They’re not going to give up the reins no matter how many humiliations. Thanks Obama.

Maybe so, but the internet points are fantastic.

Excitement for Joe Biden is OFF THE CHARTS in Colchester, VT this afternoon. (This was seriously the only Biden sign at a polling location that had three Pete Buttigieg signs.)
