She is not abnormal. She is the median Republican. There are going to be at least 50 people like her in congress in 2022.
Really, itâs taken the Republican Party like ten years to catch up with their base of batshit crazy imbeciles.
She is one of the most hideous people inside and out I have ever experienced.
Itâs interesting. If the republicans were more like their base we would get a bunch more like her where if the Democrats were more like theirs we would get M4A and a living wage.
I think weâll see Democrats move more towards M4A when we have fewer members of Congress who lived through the 2010 midterms and the backlash to Obamacare.
This is good. Theyâre going to go big and do it quickly.
Maybe. Kind of think as long as the money which opposes it is there not much will change.
When was this filmed? One because the lack of masks makes me think pre-covid but if they are in the restricted access areas it would have to be more recent, and two because the people sheâs leading around sure look like they would have been involved on Jan 6thâŚ
It seems to be from Feb '19 according to Mehdi Hasan on Twitter. Sheâs been nuts for a while.
All this old Marjorie Taylor Green content coming out now tells you all you need to know about the sad state of oppo research on dem campaigns. Hell, even her primary opponentsâ.
Itâs like no one even looked at her social media, which is the easiest thing in the world to do.
She still would have won. Republicans agree with her.
She lives in an uber-safe Republican district. She shouldnât be a priority for dem oppo research and arguably if Dems knew about this stuff, they should want her to win so that she can be turned into a punching bag who is symbolic of the national Republican Party.
she still had primary opponents. and Rs are generally better at oppo anyway.
Her D opponent was removed from the ballot when he lost his day job and moved out of state.
Her primary run-off opponent was busy attacking her for not using e-Verify to screen out undocumented workers at her construction company. She had the backing of Mark Meadows and the Freedom Caucus, which encouraged her to carpet-bag her way into a safe Republican district instead of running in a competitive one. The national Republicans for the most part were hands-off on her primary.
Greene won her primary because of her racist attitudes. None of this stuff coming out about her would have countered that.
âBetrayed.â
The only response to Susan Collins is JLawOK.gif.
Seriously. How hard is it to say âI worry about what the hard working people in my state need for their families, not what Republicans want for millionaires and billionaires.â
