These dipshits are still using yard signs in their neighborhood and straw polls of their church groups as a proxy for the election. They always think they’re going to win.
I don’t remember a bunch of Republicans flipping the panic switch about the House in 2018, and that was an election where they were down nine points in generic ballot polls, and they ended up losing over 40 seats. In fact, what I remember is several people posting here that they had even money bets with MAGAtards that Democrats would lose seats in the House.
They don’t believe in data, science, history, any of that shit. GOP state level officials like the ones interviewed in your article are the lowest of low IQ. Their opinion is worth less than an old piece of gum on your shoe.

As much as these polls are positive signs, the amount of undecided is still at least slightly worrying. Need to start seeing more polls like the CNN one where Biden is polling at 55.

We still have 5 months. Unless Trump turns it around and becomes presidential (LOL) I don’t see the numbers getting better for him here on out.
I don’t think I’ll ever not be paranoid until the results come in after 2016. Honestly, that’s probably for the best if Dem voters feel that way.

I’m not gonna delve into the details behind this, but there would have to be fundamental errors for Trump to have a legit chance if these numbers are accurate.
edit: delved a little. This is registered voters. It’s somewhat closer among likely voters. One of the things Trump needs, at a minimum, is fewer people voting. Expect various efforts and messaging to be aimed at reducing turnout. Didn’t work in 2018, however.
