she’s on the verge of tears looking into the dull spray-tanned face of a literal prophet from jesus. a 3-time adulterer, slothful, vengeful, rube who through his inability to control any of his ridiculous whims has, apolitically speaking, not even right/left policy-wise, thrown america under the bus dozens of times, and the best possible interpretation of what he has done and is doing is that he is being honestly outsmarted by every corrupt dictator because of inherent character flaws that make him want to please tough guys, and the worst interpretation is that he isn’t even being blackmailed by anybody and he’s shitting on america as a non-quid-pro-quo strategy trump thought up by himself where he hands foreign policy to anybody who might later help him become a real billionaire one day. but he’s putting gay people in their place and he’s making it harder for poor people to get abortions, so it’s all worth it.
