I can see Trump making a “deal” with Turkey over the nukes. Turkey will say they’ll turn the nukes over to Trump if he wins the 2020 election. And Trump will scare the rubes into voting for him. Like how Iran freed the Americans after Reagan won in 1980.

I can get on board with “a very big downsizing”; the USSR was very much a Russian empire that imploded. Even his America/Italy comment was pretty much fake news, he said that America and Italy’s cultural heritage dates back thousands of years, which is perfectly sensible (whatever we inherited from the Romans, religion, republicanism, pretty sure Christmas), he didn’t say that their relationship dated back thousands of years.
