Survey questions have to be considered in context. Here, itās hard to evaluate independent affection for Biden because hate for Trump is a vacuum. How many politicians do you love more than you hate Trump?
The motivation for voters is to crush Trump at the polls. It just so happens that doing so will mean a Biden victory, but if there were a way to remove Trump without electing Biden, I daresay a lot of people would rush to take that option.
With Trump on the ticket, though, thereās no way to accurately assess the favorability of an average left/right ticket, like if it had been Biden/Kamala vs Jeb/Cruz.

Trump is bitcoin. No fundamental virtues, makes zero economic sense but thereās just enough total idiots out there who believe hard enough that it inexplicably works.
Haha I just realised Trump is a bubble. Thatās why heās the perfect avatar of America. Like can you think of a better term for his support than irrational exuberance? His polling from 2015 on looks like a bitcoin value graph. Heās fallen way off from his peak but thereās still enough insane hodlers out there to maybe pull him through for a while longer at least.
