Yeah honestly I get why youâre a little brain broken this year about everything. So is everyone. I think almost every poster here is really suffering and most of us are starting to see our worldview warp in really unpleasant ways under the strain of trying to analyze the straight up unknowable number of variables in play right now.
Youâre a smart dude and I suspect your normal biases and habits that steer you away from extreme conclusions probably serve you extremely well. This is, however, the kind of moment that results in crackpots gaining cult intellectual appeal for decades because they 'got it right in â20â. Itâs like how gold bugs get to brag about how right they are once every 30 years at the exact moment gold hits its inflation adjusted all time high over a weekend.
I think the way you need to filter this in the future is to think about how the person youâre talking to is in normal times. Youâve been around this group of people a long time at this point. Iâm sure youâve got a pretty clear idea who is reasonable and who isnât. If the reasonable people are saying seemingly unreasonable things you need to look really hard at whatâs going on to make sure itâs not you thatâs wrong. Epstein didnât kill himself after all.

I know itâs ridiculous, but but Trump putting out all this money that the government is spending is smart. Hope dem presidents follow suit and tweet every time money is allocated somewhere.
Also hope if Biden wins he starts posting images of him and Kamala holding up uhm, Newmanâs Own* products like those Trump Goya photos.

When Trump gets re-elected it will legitimately be the mediaâs fault.
It is completely unacceptable that they keep amplifying blatant lies about voting. Itâs not that ridiculous, there have been some pretty big news events with Qanon followers committing crimes or trying to. It is also becoming fairly mainstream, I know a few people that became Q followers. It also has caught the attention of someone close to Trump (maybe one of his sons) where Trump has said or done things that Q âpredictedâ and Trump amplifies it on his Twitter all the time. There is speculation that Erik Prince might be involved somehow but that veers more into the conspiracy side (true anon has a good recent episode on q anon, also the actual q anon pod is good)
