The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: Unconstitutional Slop

Buying off AGs makes a lot of sense for someone like Trump.

So what you’re saying is, don’t vote for racists? Ok.

The Q thing is truly astonishing. I didn’t think it was possible for me to be more pessimistic about people in this country but here we are.

This is a big problem with the internet. It has allowed these crazy dumb people to find each other and validate each other which gives them the confidence to annoy the crap out of us.

I liked it better when they were all alone and isolated with their dumb musings.

So this thing started as joke. Grew by crowd sourcing as half joke, half morons and now has been weaponized by the Russians, all while Zuck fiddles?

There is a long history of conspiracy shit like Q having a significant impact on world events. It is a huge mistake to dismiss it as fringe nonsense. The Protocols of the Elders of Zion was just as much a bunch of made up bullshit as QAnon, and that fucking thing has the blood of millions on it.

I think it gives them a righteous perch to sit on. Nobody, even the libs, can attack them for wanting to prosecute pedophiles. Everybody except pedophiles is against pedophiles. It also allows them to not give a shit about any other actual issue (BLM/Trump/COVID/kids in cages) because “what could be more important than saving the children”. Yea, don’t ask about the hypocrisy of not caring about those children in the cages.

That makes sense.

To be entirely fair, I think Qanon was born on reddit.

4chan, then moved to 8chan. The tripcodes verifying their identity are a crucial part of the posts.

nailed it pretty much, don’t have to care about BLM and shit when you’re working on saving the kids.

I subscribe to Matt Christman’s thinking on Qanon, which is basically that Trump winning was an impossible dream for MAGA chuds, and now they need an explanation for why nothing has changed, they don’t feel any better and the people they hate aren’t in jail. Q functions as that explanation: everything actually HAS changed, Trump has saved the world, it’s just not out in the open yet. The child molestation cabal thing is correct, they just have the details wrong.

Edit: at least that’s how it got started. Numbers are bolstered now by people who will just believe anything they watch or read.

How do Qers explain all pedo-light trump behaviours over his life?

That anything negative about trump is a lie or taken out of context and the undercover thing i said.

They probably don’t know about the Miss Teen stuff and whatever. The media they watch doesn’t carry that. They’d probably just say it was made up anyway. Stuff like Epstein photos is that he was ldo undercover.

Also to an extent the child molesting stuff is just reverse engineering an explanation for why it’s reasonable to hate Hillary etc so much. The connection with real life inappropriate behaviour is tenuous

Oh I missed the undercover part. So that explains the photos with Epstein. You have to appreciate the cleanliness of that logic I guess.

Three days before the World Health Organization officially declared the coronavirus a pandemic, Trump was retweeting a QAnon-themed meme. “Who knows what this means, but it sounds good to me!” the president wrote on March 8, sharing a Photoshopped image of himself playing a violin overlaid with the words “Nothing can stop what is coming.”

QAnon is great because it incorporates all other conspiracy theories: school shootings, Mueller, covid, Scalia, lizard people, etc. Plus there’s tons of different factions and they disagree about various details. I think there was a bit on the Daily Show or something where they got a bunch of them together and just asked simple questions and let them argue. I couldn’t find it but did find this from 2.5 years ago:
