I like Tim Horton’s, but I’m generally trashy like that.
A FB friend of mine posted today about how he was sitting in a car in a driveway and a political canvasser came right up to the window, no mask, and started to try to do their sales pitch on him. He was really frustrated that there was absolute no concern about social distancing, etc.
He tries to stay politically-neutral, so he didn’t initially say what party the person was from, but someone got it out of him: Republican. The assumption was that it was a David Perdue canvasser. One person said there have been complaints about the lack of COVID consideration on the Perdue side.

Private: “No, I’m not going to get that looked at because it could leave me bankrupt and homeless.”
Public: “Hmm, never noticed that before. I’ll schedule an appointment to have it looked at.”

How the hell did Tim Horton’s ever get popular? Every single thing they sell sucks.
Most importantly, the coffee sucks. The donuts super suck. All their other food sucks even more. Who is eating at this fucking restaurant?

Seems like a good ad. As I recently heard a digital political person say, if you’ve seen the ad it’s probably not effective. For ads to be effective they need to target someone other than you (who is already going to vote for the candidate).
