I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, almost no one who isn’t a baseball player looks dignified trying to throw out a ceremonial first pitch from the pitcher’s mound. Plus, they have to put on the uniform, it’s just so demeaning for everyone involved. GWB managed to pull it off, but he was a very rare exception. Kamala just looks like a clown trying to heave that thing above the strike zone. It’s so cringey. You’re a middle-aged woman, you’re an incredibly successful lawyer, why are you cosplaying as a baseball pitcher?

If I were in that position, you can bet I’d hire my own personal pitching coach and work on it for a while. I can’t believe that a couple of hours of practice a day for a few days wouldn’t get me to at least look respectable.

Can we talk about the fact that back in the day the POTUS only needed a security detail of like one cop when he went out to a ball game? Shit was just different back then. Lincoln only had four men working security when he was shot, that was like the height of the civil war, the Confederate army was just across the river waiting to strike. Imagine a modern-day president coming to a baseball game with only one cop as security.
