lol and the writers were obv pissed at him for it. they spent half a season introducing him as a new main character so instead of having his character just get a job at a different hospital they had another character find him dead by gunshot suicide lol like fuck you you’re not coming back

The longer term reason is it is not profitable. The shorter term reason is the election.
Because Democrats will vote by mail, Republicans think the pandemic is a hoax and will vote in person. Thus if you can make the postal service slow and inefficient, you can disenfranchise Dems.
